Kim Bolton is the founder of Black Swan Dexteritas Inc. and the portfolio manager for BSD’s flagship Global Technology Hedge Fund. Kim’s previous experience includes 35 years of portfolio management and securities trading experience at Toronto Dominion Bank, CIBC Asset Management, and British Petroleium and has successfully managed portfolios in excess of $3.5 Billion. Kim has a MBA degree from Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from Trent University.
Geoff focuses on BSD’s international business development activities. Geoff has 15 years experience is international finance and asset management, across numerous front and back office functions. Geoff has an MBA degree in International Business Strategy from Erasmus University, Rotterdam School of Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, Desautels Faculty of Management.
Alex has 15 years of engineering experience in microelectronics, optics, algorithms, image processing and networking. He received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Lev is a highly successful serial entrepreneur in the technology sector currently running one of the largest data center company in Russia. Lev is also the co-founder of VK, Russia’s largest social network company. Lev has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from McGill University, Desautels Faculty of Management.
Yuriy advises BSD on technology developments and is based in Silicon Valley. He heads Security Innovation Labs of Alibaba Cloud, working on intelligent machines to improve the security of the cloud and its customers. Yuriy holds a Masters degrees in computer science and business from Samara State Aerospace University and Washington University, respectively. Yuriy is regularly published in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored multiple patents in data analytics, security, and IoT.
Dan is interleaved in the Israeli startup ecosystem, based in Haifa. Heading the development of Mellanox’s prime product line during its years of massive growth from a startup to a $2.5billion dollar company he was part of the buildup of a unicorn before departing to start his own startup. Today he is the CEO of Volleto, an innovative startup in the fields of retail and big data, merging the latest technologies into traditional brands. Dan holds a BSc in electrical & computer engineering from the Technion.
Gregory advises BSD on new technologies developments and is based in the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He is a PhD Candidate in the Computer Science department. Gregory’s research interests are, signal and image modeling, optimization and deep learning. Gregory is also has a vast experience in image processing, and in his last role was senior algorithm and architecture engineer at CSR Semiconductors.
